Saturday Night Live 3/20/99
The saturday night before "Sunday at the Oscars", Drew Barrymore hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Garbage. One of the highlights of her apperance was a spoof of VH-1's Behind the Music in which Drew Barrymore teamed up with her Everyone Says I Love You co-star Edward Norton. The two portrayed 70's musical duo Captain and Tennille and gave an explanation of how they developed their image, while "Muskrat Love" played in the background. At the end of the show, Drew thanked her best friend Edward Norton. HEAR THE SKIT!!!SNL skit photosDrewropa has some wonderful images of the skit and Drew throughout the program which I've added to the photo gallery. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to inflict upon you the image that I took (via the flatbroke cam) of both.
