Incredible Hulk- EN is starring and writing the screenplay of the Marvel classic comic book character. It also stars Liv Tyler (Betty Ross), Tim Roth (The Abomination), and William Hurt (General Ross). It is currently filming. Release date June 13, 2008

Pride and Glory

Pride and Glory- EN, Colin Farrell and Noah Emmerich star in the film which is "a generational drama about a family of police officers in New York torn apart by a corruption scandal." Shooting started February 2006 in New York.

Leaves of Grass- EN will play identical twins, one an Ivy League classics professorand the other a hedonistic pot-smoking career criminal. Tim Blake Nelson wrote the script will direct, and will also act in the film Shooting starts late March 2008.

Strange Days

National Geographic's Strange Days on Planet Earth is "a four-part science and natural history series that uses great storytelling to explore new discoveries about the health of the planet." EN hosts and narrates the series which premiered April 20, 2005 on PBS.If you missed it, you can rent it through Netflix or buy it through Amazon.com
Motherless Brooklyn caricature of EN

Motherless Brooklyn- EN is currently writing the script based on the Jonathan Lethem novel. He is also producing and starring in the film. The story is about Lionel "Freakshow" Essrog, a detective with Tourettes Syndrome who tries to find his mentor's killer.

Fear Itself- EN will be a producer on this remake of Straw Dogs where a married couple confronted by a random act of violence flee from New York to rural Maine, only to discover that they cannot outrun the threat of violence. It is currently unknown as to whether EN will act in this film.

A Soldier of the Great War- Based on the novel by Mark Helprin, this project was announced in Mar 19 99. There has been no word of it since, except in recent press bios where EN mentions it as a future project.

Buffalo for the Broken Heart - EN's company Class 5 Films has purchased the rights to this nonfiction book by Dan O'Brien.

Dirty Work- - EN is the executive producer of this documentary about "the dirtiest jobs you'd never want to do". Premiered at Sundance

Burn This

"Burn This" EN's last performance Nov 9, 2002- EN and his Death to Smoochy co-star Catherine Keener performed in the Off-Broadway production of Lanford Wilson's "Burn This" with the Signature Theatre Company. Before his film debut in Primal Fear, EN was in the world premiere of Edward Albee's "Fragments" for the Signature Theatre Company and is currently on its Board of Trustees. The Signature Theatre Company devotes an entire season to the works of one playwright.  More on the production

Painted Veil- EN produced and stars with Naomi Watts in this adaptation of the W. Somerset Maugham novel. The "1920s-set love story "The Painted Veil" concerns a young English couple who marry hastily; move to Hong Kong, where they betray each other easily; and find one unexpected chance at redemption on a journey to China." Illusionist

The Illusionist- EN stars in this adaptation of Steven Millhauser's short story "Eisenheim the Illusionist.".
Down in the Valley

Down in the Valley- EN is producing and starring opposite Evan Rachel Wood in this indie drama by writer/director David Jacobson (Dahmer). "Set in the present-day San Fernando Valley, the project revolves around a delusional man who believes he's a cowboy and the relationship that he starts with a rebellious young woman (Wood)."

Kingdom of Heaven

Kingdom of Heaven- EN has a small role as King Baldwin IV.

Italian Job

The Italian Job- Remake of the 1969 film with EN starring opposite Mark Wahlberg and Chalize Theron. Wahlberg stars as Charlie, head of a robbery crew who stages a traffic jam in order to steal back a safe filled with gold that previously had been stolen by a double-crossing associate (Norton). However, EN did not choose this film, he was threatened with litigation if he refused.
25th Hour

25th Hour- Adaptation of the David Benioff novel showing the last day of freedom for a young man (EN) before he begins serving a seven-year jail term for drug dealing. Spike Lee is directing with Rosario Dawson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Brian Cox, Barry Pepper costarring. Filming apparently began May 1st in New York and ended mid-July.

Red Dragon

Red Dragon- EN plays Will Graham, the FBI agent who captured Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), in this Silence of the Lambs prequel. Filming began on January 7th.

Frida Kahlo

Frida- EN makes a cameo appearance as Nelson Rockefeller in this biopic starring Salma Hayek as the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. EN also rewrote the screenplay.

Edward Norton as Smoochy

Death to Smoochy- Robin Williams plays a kiddie show host who is fired after taking a bribe and replaced by Smoochy (EN), a guy in a rhino suit. A crazed Williams decides to kill him in this black comedy directed by Danny DeVito.
Edward Norton in The Score

The Score- Norton plays a young man who thwarts the retirement plans of a master thief (Robert De Niro) by blackmailing him into pulling off one last heist. Marlon Brando plays the fence of the veteran thief. Angela Bassett co-stars and Frank Oz directed.
Edward Norton in Keeping the Faith

Keeping the Faith- This romantic comedy is the first time that EN has directed (and produced) a movie. A priest (Norton) and a rabbi (Ben Stiller), friends since childhood, both fall in love with the same woman (Jenna Elfman). However, neither of them can pursue a relationship with her because it would go against their respective religious beliefs.
Edward Norton in Fight Club

Fight Club- The unnamed narrator (EN) finds himself successful (yet increasingly alienated) in a corporate, materialistic world. He meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and his life is never the same. Stunning visuals illustrate this film that defies normal description, going from insomnia to cancer-support groups to underground boxing to soap.
Edward Norton in Rounders

Rounders (1998)- EN and Matt Damon team up in this film on high-stakes poker. Mike (MD) gave up poker for law school only to be sucked back in to help his best friend Worm (EN) pay off his gambling debts.
Edward Norton in American History X

American History X (1998)- EN received an Academy Award nomination as a violent skinhead who changes his beliefs in prison. He comes home to rebuild his life only to find that his brother (Edward Furlong) has followed in his footsteps, embracing the hate and violence that he left behind
Edward Norton in People vs. Larry Flynt

People Vs. Larry Flynt (1996)- The First Amendment is the main focus of this biography on the legal battles of Hustler founder Larry Flynt (Woody Harrelson) directed by Milos Forman. EN plays the attorney who ends up defending his Flynt and his right to Free Speech in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Edward Norton and Drew Barrymore in Everyone Says I Love You

Everyone Says I Love You (1996)- This is a picturesque musical by Woody Allen about romance with an impressive ensemble cast. Holden (EN) is deeply in love with Skylar (Drew Barrymore) only to find her falling for an unexpected suitor.
Edward Norton in Primal Fear

Primal Fear (1996)- Edward Norton made his feature film debut as a stuttering altar boy accused of murder opposite Richard Gere as a defense attorney determined to prove his innocence. His performance earned a Golden Globe award and an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor, as well as several critics awards (some of them in conjunction with his next two films).
